Photo Tips by Judy Schrader |
Photo Tips |
| The following are tips for people who live too far from
me to take my own pictures.
Professional photos aren't necessary, but clear and bright close-up photos are. It is a good idea to send several photos including at least one clear close-up of the head, if we are doing a specific animal. I have included an example of the kind of photos needed to make my job easier. If you are interested in a pet portrait and your pet is no longer with you, I may be able to work from the pictures even if they are not very clear, please ask. |

| The above shows the finished oil painting and the photo
used to create Lady's portrait. Lady's portrait was painted to a size of
12 x 16. This is the type of photo needed to do a detailed portrait.
Landscape pictures also need to be clear and show good detail of the surroundings to be in the paintings. Several photos of the area from different views can be a help. If you are interested in receiving a monthly newsletter for updates or when new paintings, cards or prints are listed on my site, please go to my Contact Me page and email me for information. Thank you. If you have any questions or would like to order a painting, please contact me. |
