| I am happy to say this painting; "Three Little
Men and a Baby" and "A
Day of Rest" were accepted into the Harness Tracks of America's National Art
Show being held in Lexington, Kentucky on October 4 - 9, 2004. I was inspired to do this painting from a photo taken by an artist friend of
mine from the UK, Lesley Ann Hartman. With her
permission, I used her photo of the cart and pony as the base for this
painting. My grandson,
Hunter Matthew Loomis, was the model for the little boy sitting in the
cart, and in the lead is Mac, a Golden Retriever. This painting was
sold at the Harness Track Art Show.
