Commissions are Welcome

Original oil paintings will last a lifetime and gain in value. They will brighten any wall and give you years of pleasure. Paintings are wonderful to give as special gifts or a keepsake for yourself to enjoy.

All the paintings in my website are for sale unless otherwise specified. However, if you do not see something you want, we can work together in creating an original work of art for you.

If you would like to commission an original oil painting, here are a few pointers to keep in mind. .

Size

I need to know the size  you would like your painting to be...i.e. 11 x 14 etc.

Framing

Framing is a very important part of your finished painting.  It can make or break a beautiful piece of work. If you want, I can assist you with your framing needs.

Pet Portraits

I have been commissioned to do many pet portraits. Whatever your special friend is, I would love to paint a lasting tribute of him/her for you.

More than one pet?

I can include several pets in one portrait. The price will be higher as including several pets in one portrait greatly affects the time taken to complete. However, you will know the exact price of your painting before any work is started.

Wildlife

Wild animals are my most favorite subjects to paint. I love to capture their wild spirit on canvas. I paint mostly North American Wildlife, but recently I have been planning paintings that include Gorillas, Rhinos, Zebras and other exotic animals.

Landscapes

I specialize in animal paintings; however, I would be happy to consider a commission for a landscape painting.  If you have a specific scene in mind, I would be glad to immortalize it on canvas for you.

Guarantee

I have confidence in my work, but if for any reason you are not entirely happy with your finished painting, you are under no obligation to accept it.

Pricing

Once you have selected the size and subject of your painting, you will be contacted with the exact price, with no obligation. Prices of paintings will vary with size and detail. This price will include shipping and insurance. A 30 % deposit is required with your order. When your painting is completed you will be sent a scanned copy via mail or email for your approval. If needed I will accept payments until the painting is paid in full. Once I have received your final payment your painting will be shipped immediately. I do accept PayPal, money orders and personal checks. If using personal checks, the painting will be sent as soon as the check clears the bank.
